Club Meeting Cancelled
Seems like somebody forgot to tell the rain gods that “IT DOESN’T RAIN IN NATAL DURING WINTER”; the meeting scheduled for the 14th was cancelled due to a very wet track, which despite the efforts of many with blowers, brushes and even a mop, refused to dry out.
We have used the ‘rain date’ for Richards Bay for a replacement meeting. The current 7 Day forecast indicates that it will be sunny and dry @ 24C.
We can only hope !

Hi Team,
For those who missed the first meeting on the newly resurfaced track, get your cars out and charged!!
The traction and bite given by the new surface is awesome and gone is the black dust/ residue that the old top layer was giving. Some of the 200mm guys were even able to run with 40 shore rears while the 1/8th cars could run 37 rears without a problem.
The 1/12 electrics were also well and truely planted and Barry's 1/10 pan was running new record times, as were the open stocks who could run consistantly in the 17 sec bracket. What a pleasure to again be able to run clean and with big bite so you can get on the throttle really early.
More news is that the club is moving foreward with a new drift track planned on the back slab so this will give the drifters a more permanent option to run on a drift designed track.
